New Adult Sunday Class

On Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the second floor classroom Co-pastors Dwayne and Vicky are leading a video discussion on Christianity: The Second Thousand Years. This eight week class “chronicles not just the events and personalities that left indelible marks on the landscape of faith, but also the forces behind them. From the Crusades and the Reformation to the sweeping changes of Vatican II, each fascinating episode is illuminated through extensive use of historical documents, commentary from renowned scholars, and visits to the sites where history was made.”

Rev. Dr. Jack Finney continues his Bible study class also each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the church library.

Members and friends both are welcome at either of these two study opportunities.

Per Capita

Per capita is one of the expenses related to being organized for mission in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It is a responsible way of sharing costs that equitably belong to the whole Presbyterian community. In a connected church such as ours, per capita helps to fund the foundational framework that supports the denomination’s mission at all levels. It is a tangible and faithful way of supporting our connections with one another so that our witness to the world in the name of Jesus Christ is visible and vibrant. At FPC Roseburg, our share for 2012 is $23.85 per active member. Per Capita envelopes are included in your pledge box, or simply note Per Capita on your check and place it in the offering plate.
